Our company in Mississauga, ON is hiring an AZ driver for cross-border short-haul and regional freight runs between Canada and the US. Pay is $8,000.00-$10,000.00 per month, and the work is in person.
What you'll do
- Run freight across the Canada/US border in an AZ commercial vehicle on short-haul and regional trips.
- Keep customs paperwork and your electronic logs correct at every crossing.
- Inspect the vehicle before, during and after each trip.
- Tie down loads properly using straps, load bars or whatever securement the freight needs.
- Work professionally with dispatch, border officials and customers.
Requirements
- A valid AZ licence plus 1 to 2 years of AZ driving you can verify.
- A clean CVOR record and a current copy of your Driver's Abstract.
- A clean criminal record search.
- Solid understanding of Hours of Service rules and ELD compliance.
- A reliable, punctual and professional approach to the job.
Pay
- $8,000.00-$10,000.00 per month.
