Seasonal Delivery Driver — $23.28/hr

Our company is hiring a seasonal courier in Nepean, ON for a temporary assignment of up to 12 weeks, depending on business needs. This is a local, non-CDL delivery role paid at an hourly rate.

Pay

• $23.28 per hour (this rate may not apply to internal applicants)

Schedule

• Temporary assignment, up to 12 weeks based on operational needs

• Two shift options: Tuesday through Saturday, or Sunday through Thursday

• Must be fully available

What you'll do

• Pick up and drop off packages along an assigned route

• Check shipments to make sure they meet company service standards

• Load the van and plan your route for efficient stops

• Keep packages and equipment secure

• Use onboard tracking and dispatch tools to log accurate information

• Answer customer questions about shipping services and requirements

• Pass along sales leads from customers to the sales team

• Occasionally help load or unload aircraft or containers and scan packages

Requirements

• Valid full G driver's license (or equivalent, such as Class 5 or Class 1/AZ)

• High school diploma or GED

• No prior experience required, though a year of customer service experience is a plus

• Clean driving record, with no more than two violations or accidents in the past 24 months

• Must be available for the full shift schedule

• Quebec-based applicants must be bilingual in French and English
