Salt Truck Driver — $25–$30/hr, 20 Hours Guaranteed

Our company needs Salt Truck Drivers this winter to keep commercial properties safe by spreading salt and de-icing materials. You'll work alongside the snow operations crew, often during early mornings, evenings or overnight when storms hit.

Pay

• $25-$30 an hour, with 20 hours per week guaranteed

• Annual 10% pay increase

What you'll do

• Drive salt trucks to apply de-icing material evenly across commercial sites

• Coordinate with crew leads and labourers to prioritize properties and plan routes

• Complete pre- and post-trip truck inspections and flag any maintenance issues

• Be on call for quick response when snow or ice events occur, including off-hour shifts

• Follow company safety procedures at all times

Requirements

• Valid G driver's license and your own transportation

• A cell phone with a data plan

• Comfortable working outdoors in harsh winter weather and lifting heavy loads

• Experience supervising a similarly sized crew

• Snow removal experience helpful but not required; training is provided

• Strong teamwork and communication skills
