Rollback Truck Operator — $28.00/hr, Edmonton, AB

Our company in Edmonton, AB is looking for an experienced rollback truck operator to haul vehicles safely and keep towing operations running smoothly. You'll load, secure and transport vehicles while staying on top of inspections, communication and basic upkeep of your rig.

Pay

• $28.00 per hour

• Full-time, with expected hours of 40 to 60 per week

What you'll do

• Drive vehicles to their destinations on schedule while following traffic laws and company rules

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip checks on your rollback truck

• Load and unload vehicles, making sure cargo is handled and secured correctly

• Stay in touch with dispatch, clients and teammates about delivery timing and any problems that come up

• Handle basic mechanical troubleshooting and upkeep on the truck as needed

• Keep loads within weight limits and regulations, and follow safety steps during driving and loading

Requirements

• Valid CDL with 2 years of commercial driving experience (towing experience required)

• Hands-on experience running a rollback truck for loading and unloading vehicles

• Basic mechanical know-how for simple maintenance and troubleshooting

• Strong organization skills to keep routes, schedules and paperwork in order

• Clear communication skills with clients and coworkers

• Fluent English

• A clean driver's abstract required at hire
