Regional CDL-A Truck Driver — Weekly Home Time

Our company's private fleet is hiring regional Class A drivers out of the Pottsville, PA facility. The job pays per mile plus extra activity pay, and comes with weekly home time, no-touch freight and benefits starting on day one.

Pay

• Mileage rate of $0.55 - $0.69 per mile; regional drivers can earn up to $110,000 in their first year

• Extra activity pay on top of mileage for things like stops, hooks, live loads, layovers and weekend miles

• Activity-only pay for events such as breakdowns, weather or road closures and wait time

• $240 Average Daily Pay for paid time off, safety days and holidays

• Quarterly safety bonuses and yearly raises

Schedule and freight

• Home every week, with consecutive days off each week

• No-touch freight deliveries

What you'll do

• Drive your tractor-trailer safely and check it before, during and after every trip

• Keep your logs and paperwork accurate and follow DOT, state and company rules

• Plan your day, follow optimized routes and coordinate with your team to keep deliveries on time

Requirements

• Class A CDL with a Hazmat endorsement, or get it within 120 days of hire (background check applies)

• 30 months of full-time Class A tractor-trailer work in the last 3 years, or completion of our company's Fleet Development Academy

• Past 3 years: no more than two moving violations, no serious violations and no preventable accidents

• Past 10 years: no preventable DOT recordable accidents; no preventable accident ever involving a fatality or catastrophic injury

• Live within 250 miles of the facility, or move within that distance within 90 days of hire
