About this job
Smart Logistics Group is looking for CDL-A drivers for regional routes in Michigan. Both brand-new CDL-A graduates and experienced drivers are welcome to apply, and you'll get home every week while running newer equipment.
Pay
- $0.55 to $0.85 per mile, with entry-level drivers starting near the lower end and experienced drivers earning up to the top rate
Home time
- Weekly home time

What you'll haul

Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- Authorized to drive commercial motor vehicles in the United States
- Safety-focused and professional on the road
- Able and willing to run regional routes with weekly home time
- New CDL-A graduates welcome, no experience required
Responsibilities
- Drive your tractor-trailer safely following all federal, state and company rules
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and flag any maintenance issues
- Keep accurate logs in line with Hours of Service rules
- Meet customer and scheduling needs on your regional routes
- Stay in regular contact with dispatch and follow routing and safety guidance
