About this job
Our company is hiring regional tractor-trailer drivers based in London, KY. You are paid per mile, home every week, and run no-touch freight deliveries.
Pay
- Mileage rate of $0.55 - $0.69 per mile; actual pay varies by location and miles driven.
- Extra activity pay on top of the mileage rate for things like drops, hooks, live loads, layovers, stops, chains, evening shifts and weekend miles.
- Some situations pay activity pay only, such as breakdowns, weather or road closures, waiting time and trailer issues.
- Average Daily Pay of $240 per day applies to PTO, safety days, holidays and full-day our company events.
- our company says first-year regional drivers can earn up to $110,000.
- Quarterly safety bonuses and yearly raises.
Home time
- Home weekly, with consecutive days off every week.
What you'll do
- Drive and inspect your tractor-trailer before, during and after each trip.
- Follow optimized routes, traffic laws and local restrictions.
- Keep paperwork and electronic logs accurate and follow DOT, state and company rules.
- Plan your day and work with your team to deliver safely and on time.
Requirements
- Class A CDL with a Hazmat endorsement and cleared background check, or get the endorsement within 120 days of hire.
- 30 months of full-time Class A driving in the last 3 years, or completion of our company's Fleet Development Academy.
- Over the past 3 years: no more than 2 moving violations, no serious violations, no preventable accidents.
- No preventable DOT recordable accident in the past 10 years, and none involving a fatality or catastrophic injury ever.
- Live within 250 miles of the facility, or move within that range within 90 days of hire.
