About this job
Our company is looking for regional CDL-A owner operators to haul dedicated customer freight out of Ohio. The work is mostly drop and hook, with no brokered loads, and you get home weekly.
Pay
- You are paid 70%-73% of weekly gross revenue.
- The company states weekly gross revenue of $6,500-$12,000, with an average of $7,500+.
- It also states $3,000-$6,000 weekly net after all deductions.
- Settlements are weekly, with direct deposit every Friday.
- Safety bonuses of $2,000-$3,000 are paid quarterly and annually.
Freight and routes
- Dedicated direct customer freight at contracted rates that stay consistent all year.
- Primary operating area: IL, IN, MI, OH, PA, IA, MN, WI, MO, KY, TN and SC. No West Coast or East Coast runs.
- Trailers come from a fleet of 165 53-foot units, most under five years old, at a 4:1 trailer-to-truck ratio.
Home time
- Home every week, with extra chances to stop home when passing through on regional runs.
- One part of the posting says home every other weekend.
Costs and support
- Trailer fee is $750 per month and the plate program is $50 per week.
- Shop rate is $100/hr, backed by 3 garage bays and 6 full-time mechanics.
- EZ Pass, Pre-Pass and Motive and AtoB fuel cards are provided.
- Passenger ride-along and pet rider programs are available.
Requirements
- You must own your truck, a 2015 or newer tractor.
- CDL-A with at least 2 years of tractor-trailer experience.
- A steady work history.
- No felony in the last 7 years.
- No DUI or reckless driving in the last 5 years.
