Regional CDL-A Driver — Home Weekly, Avg $83,200/Year

Our company has a dedicated regional CDL-A route in Joliet, IL running for Dollar Tree. You'll run solo, hand-unloading dry van freight with rollers, and be home weekly.

Home time

• You get a 34-hour reset each week, landing on either Saturday and Sunday or Sunday and Monday

• Shifts run Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday, depending on where you're based

• You can park your truck at home as long as the spot is safe and secure

Pay

• Drivers average $83,200 a year, with the top 10% earning up to $101,556 annually*

• Pay includes mileage plus several extra pay types:

• $200 per day for a 24-hour layover

• $200 per day for a 24-hour breakdown

• $200 per day for training or retraining

• $25 per load for backhaul pickups

• $25 for a clean DOT inspection

• Up to 3% weekly bonus for safe, on-time runs

What you'll haul

• You'll run about 970 miles a week on this Dollar Tree account, with 3 turns and an average of 3 to 5 stops per load

• Deliveries go to WI, IA, MN, MI, IN, and Northern KY

• Freight is dry van, hand-unloaded using rollers - good if you want to stay active on the job

• Trucks are late-model sleepers with automatic transmissions, pulling 53' dry van trailers

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A with at least 3 months of current driving experience

• Not open to students, recent grads, or trainees

• Must be at least 21 years old

• Must pass a DOT drug screen
