About this job
Our company is looking for regional CDL-A drivers to run out of the Chicago/Romeoville, IL area. You'll be back home every weekend, hauling no-touch dry van freight with mostly drop-and-hook stops.
Pay
- $0.67 to $0.73 per mile
- First-check bonus: $2,625 with Hazmat, $2,450 without (limited time)
- Safety bonuses worth $5,600 to $6,300 per year
- Yearly anniversary bonuses
- Paid on practical miles
Home time
- Home every weekend
What you'll haul
- Dry van freight, 100% no touch
- About 85% drop and hook
- No east coast runs
- Main operating states: IL, WI, IA, MO, IN, OH, KY, TN, MI (no Canada)
Equipment
- Mostly 2023-2026 automatic Freightliner Cascadia condo sleepers with 72-inch sleeper berths
- TV, microwave, fridge, inverter and free Sirius XM radio on board
- Air release fifth wheel, dual air ride seats, and Opti-Idle
Requirements
- At least 8 months of recent CDL-A tractor-trailer experience
- No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
- No preventable DOT-recordable accidents in the last 3 years
- No DUI, DWI or OWI in the last 5 years
- Military veterans welcome; no degree needed
