Regional CDL-A Driver — Arthur, IL — $31–$34/hr Touch Freight

Our company is looking for a Regional Class A CDL driver based in Arthur, IL. This is hands-on, touch-freight work hauling flatbeds and curtain side trailers on regional overnight routes.

Pay

• $31.00 to $34.00 per hour

What you'll haul

• You'll run a mix of flatbed and curtain side trailers

• Freight is fully touch: you'll load, unload and move it by hand using dollies, carts and other equipment

• Some stops involve tailgate drop-offs, where you unload at the delivery site and carry goods into the customer's warehouse or receiving area, making sure nothing arrives damaged

• On flatbeds and curtain siders, you're responsible for strapping down and securing loads so they travel safely

Schedule

• Full-time, with regional overnight trips

• Be ready to put in overtime and work some weekends when needed

Equipment

• You'll drive a late-model, full-service lease tractor from a well-kept fleet

Requirements

• Able to read, speak and write English

• High school diploma or GED

• At least 21 years old

• Minimum of 2 years behind the wheel of a Class A vehicle

• Valid DOT medical card from PrimeSource's approved clinic network (cards less than 45 days old need approval)

• Comfortable doing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keeping up with required maintenance

• Follow DOT rules along with company procedures
