Part-Time Hotshot Truck Driver — $26.00-$35.00/hr

Our company Inc. in Sylvan Lake, Alberta needs a part-time, as-required hotshot driver to move freight and equipment using a 1-ton truck and gooseneck trailer. Runs include both local jobs and longer-distance trips, and you'll work independently once loaded up.

Pay

• $26.00-$35.00 per hour

What you'll haul

• Freight and equipment on a 1-ton truck pulling a gooseneck trailer

• Mix of local deliveries and long-distance runs

What the job involves

• Loading and securing cargo properly

• Pre-trip and post-trip checks on the truck and trailer

• Keeping trip logs and delivery paperwork in order

• Staying in touch with customers and dispatch

• Getting loads delivered safely and on schedule

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 driver's licence

• Clean driver's abstract

• Gooseneck towing and freight hauling experience preferred

• First Aid, H2S, and CSO certifications preferred

• Understanding of load securement and safe towing

• Reliable, on time, and comfortable working without supervision

• Open availability for part-time, as-needed shifts
