About this job
Our company, an auto glass company with over 100 years in the business and more than 100 warehouses across the US and Canada, needs a part-time Warehouse/Delivery Driver in Saskatoon, SK. You will run a company vehicle to bring products to customers and handle the paperwork that goes with it.
What you'll do
- Operate the company vehicle safely and courteously at all times
- Load the truck at the branch and check the vehicle's condition along with the manifest and related paperwork before heading out
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and as much as 75 lbs from time to time
- Drive to each stop, confirm the order with the customer, unload and check the product, then collect a signature and payment
- Note returns on the manifest and hand customers receipts for any parts sent back to the branch
- Pick up buy-out purchase orders from vendors and bring the parts to the branch or directly to the customer
- Take COD payments when required
- Handle goods carefully to avoid shortages or damage
- Follow company policy and take on other tasks as needed
Requirements
- Clean, solid driving record
- If driving a vehicle over 10,001 lbs, you'll need to follow DOT rules, including keeping driver logs and holding a current medical card
