About this job
Our company is a family-run grain and cattle operation of about 8,600 acres near Kenaston, SK, looking for a Class 1A driver for a year-round role starting December 2026 or January 2027. You'll get real training, a path into running bigger equipment, and a steady home base rather than long-haul miles.
What you'll haul
During winter you'll move grain to elevators and processors under the farm's own contracts, with shop work and equipment prep filling the gaps. From seeding through harvest you'll shift into equipment work: trucking, grain cart and tillage, with room to grow into sprayer and combine duties as you prove yourself. You'll also help keep the yard, bins and machinery in good shape all year.
Pay
Hourly wage of $32.00 to $40.00, scaled to experience, with raises as you build skills. Expect 40 to 55 hours a week.
Requirements
A Class 1A licence is preferred, but the farm will help new drivers get licensed, and recent 1A holders are welcome even without road experience. They're looking for someone with 1 to 3 years around farming (growing up on one or working harvest counts), a valid driver's licence with a clean record, mechanical aptitude, reliability, and comfort with farm technology like John Deere Operations Center.
Benefits
Casual dress code, on-site parking, paid time off and paid vacation. Year-round work means no seasonal layoffs, and housing on the farm may be available. You'll be trained directly by experienced operators on modern equipment, with the goal of growing into a leadership role over time.
The hiring carrier's name is shared with you once you apply through the DriverRoll app, where you can message them directly.
