About this job
Our company in Calgary needs a part-time driver to deliver and pick up equipment at customer sites, using company vans and box trucks. You'll report to the Warehouse Manager and split your time between driving routes and helping out in the warehouse.
What you'll do

- Follow set routes and schedules set by your supervisor
- Load and unload vehicles, and check orders against delivery and pickup lists for accuracy
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage in transit
- Follow traffic laws and adjust driving to road and weather conditions
- Fill out manual or electronic log books depending on your region
- Help with dispatch tasks when needed, such as route planning, driver assignments and coordinating with venues or third-party transport
- Support the warehouse team with pulling, receiving and moving equipment, annual inventory counts, and quality control/staging
- Keep vehicles clean, inspected and road-ready, including pre-trip inspections, DVIR logs, topping up fluids (wiper fluid, DEF, etc.), and flagging any mechanical issues, damage or traffic violations to your supervisor
What you'll need
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- At least 2 years of driving experience
- A clean driving record
- Basic computer and smartphone skills, and comfort using GPS and routing software
- Solid customer service and communication skills
- Understanding of load securement and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Ability to sit or drive for extended periods and handle heavy city traffic
- Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, across warehouse and venue settings
Work environment
You'll work both at event venues and in a warehouse, with some exposure to outdoor temperatures, dust and varying noise levels. You may work around high-end audio-visual and electrical equipment. Hours can include evenings, weekends and holidays, and there's an on-call element to the schedule.
