About this job
Our company in Edmonton, AB is looking for a part-time Class 1 driver to handle pickups, deliveries and piloting of oversized loads out of Edmonton. This role suits a retired driver who can hop in the truck on short notice, sometimes with only a couple days' notice.
Pay
- $30.00-$40.00 per hour, based on experience
- Overtime pay included
Schedule
- Part-time hours
- You may need to start very early or finish very late
- Trips can run long distances to any province
- Your schedule can shift, and you should be able to work both weekdays and weekends
What you'll haul
- Oversized truck loads, including pickups, deliveries and pilot driving duties
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 driver's licence
- At least 5 years of Class 1 driving experience
- A clean commercial driving abstract covering the past 10 years
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Piloting experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Must be able to commute to Edmonton, AB T5L 3C8 or relocate there before starting
