About this job
Our company is hiring a part-time Class A CDL transfer driver in Romeoville, IL to shuttle empty trailers between our company customer facilities. This is a local, home-daily position with no-touch freight.
Pay
- $22.50 per hour, paid weekly
- Estimated at about $540 per week based on 24 hours
Schedule
- Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
- Shift starts at 8:00 AM and runs to 5:00 PM
- Home daily
What you'll haul
- Empty equipment trailers shuttled between our company customer facilities, no-touch freight
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Pass a drug test, background check, and motor vehicle record check, including drug and alcohol verification from past employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical and a road test
- Hold a valid Class A CDL with required endorsements
- Verifiable Class A experience: 9 months in the past 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years, or 5 years in the last 10 years
- Able to follow instructions and apply relevant laws and regulations
