Part-Time 5 Ton Delivery Truck Driver — 3 Days/Week Mornings

Greenfield Produce Ltd. is hiring a part-time morning delivery driver to run a 5 ton truck out of its Richmond, BC distribution center, moving fresh produce between the warehouse, vendors and chain stores.

Schedule

• Part time, 3 mornings per week

• At least 5 hours per shift, with overtime possible depending on operational needs

What you'll do

• Pick up loads from the warehouse and vendors and deliver them to chain stores

• Wrap skids so products stay in good shape and loads stay stable

• Do pre-trip and post-trip inspections and flag any major repair or maintenance needs to your manager

• Handle returns from vendors and chain stores

• Fill out delivery paperwork and check produce for quality and quantity against receiving standards

• Sort produce by store and get it there on time

• Unload at each store and confirm invoices on arrival

• Stay in regular contact with store managers and vendors, and help out with other warehouse tasks as needed

Requirements

• Valid BC Class 5 driver's license and a clean driving record

• Licensed to operate walk-in power jacks, counterbalance forklifts and narrow aisle forklifts

• Solid experience driving a 5 ton truck with air brakes

• Able to lift up to 70 lbs regularly and handle loading/unloading work

• Comfortable working long hours, overtime, and in all weather

• Detail-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills

• Follows the company's health and safety procedures when operating equipment

• First Aid Level 1 is a plus but not required
