About this job
Our company is hiring a courier in Woodbridge, ON to pick up and deliver packages on an assigned route. You will also check shipments against company service standards and help customers along the way. This is an interview position.
Schedule
- Sunday 09:15-17:45
- Friday and Saturday 08:15-16:45
- Be ready to work different shifts and holidays depending on business needs
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license (for example Class 5, G or 1 [AZ]) and a good driving record, with no more than two violations or accidents in the past 24 months
- Able to lift 70 lbs and handle packages up to 150 lbs using proper equipment
- Pass the mandatory driver assessment training before placement
- About one year of customer-focused work experience is preferred
- Knowledge of our company operations and Canadian Customs rules is an asset
- Strong communication, time management and customer service skills, and comfort working under pressure
