Our company (FCAD) is a Canadian-owned company that handles last-mile delivery of major home appliances across the country. They're looking for owner-operators with their own truck and crew to run these deliveries out of Calgary, AB.
Pay
- Competitive, paid per stop
- Weekly bonus tied to quality of service (QOS)
- Partial phone allowance
- Annual pay range listed: $50,000.00-$145,000.00 per year
Schedule and home time
- 5-6 days of guaranteed work each week
- Routes include both local and out-of-town runs
- You return home every night
- Be ready to work irregular or longer hours when the job calls for it
What you'll need
- Your own 5-ton straight truck, 24'-26' in length
- Your own driver-and-helper team
- Your own tools and equipment
- Workplace insurance and the right vehicle coverage in place
- Comfortable multitasking under pressure in a fast-moving environment
- Willingness to complete and log trip inspections and required paperwork
- Strong customer service skills
- Physical ability to load and unload large appliances without causing damage
- Commitment to following all health and safety rules and regulations
- Prior experience as a broker owner-operator is a plus
