About this job
Our company in Vancouver, BC needs owner operators with their own 3-ton or 5-ton truck for daily delivery routes. This is steady, year-round work with bi-weekly pay.
Pay
- $380–$500 per day

What you'll do
- Run your assigned delivery route each day, safely and on time
- Load and unload freight as needed
- Stay in touch with dispatch throughout your shift
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily
- Follow transportation and safety rules
- Keep your truck clean, safe and in good working order
Requirements
- You must own a reliable 3-ton or 5-ton truck in good condition
- Valid driver's licence with a clean record
- Commercial driving experience is preferred
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Able to lift and handle freight
- A dependable, safety-minded, professional approach to the job
Documents you'll need
You'll need to provide current, valid copies of:
- WorkSafeBC clearance letter, in good standing
- Commercial General Liability (CGL) insurance
- Commercial vehicle insurance
- Vehicle registration
- Vehicle inspection certificate, where required
- Up-to-date maintenance records
- Valid safety inspection and any required operating permits
- Any other paperwork needed to legally operate in British Columbia
