About this job
Our company, a growing Kentucky-based trucking company, is hiring drivers for over-the-road runs. Non-CDL company drivers are brought on as W-2 employees for weekly routes, and CDL owner-operators with their own truck are also welcome, with freight loads supplied by the company.
Pay
- Non-CDL company drivers: $800.00 - $2,000.00 per week
- Owner-operators and company drivers are paid a share of truck revenue each week: 25% for new drivers, and 27-30% for experienced drivers
- Paid out weekly by direct deposit
What you'll do
- Drive assigned routes safely
- Get freight delivered on schedule
- Handle your inspections, logbooks, and related paperwork
- Stay in touch with dispatch and follow FMCSA safety regulations
Home time
- This role is over-the-road, and trips can keep you out for 2-3 days at a stretch, including overnights, so you should be ready to be away from home regularly
Requirements
- A valid driver's license; Non-CDL drivers are accepted
- CDL holders need their own truck (our company supplies the loads)
- Clean motor vehicle record, plus a passed drug test and background check
- Prior experience is preferred for Non-CDL applicants but not required
- Applicants with a criminal record are welcome to apply
- You need to be willing to travel about 75% of the time
