OTR Truck Driver — $48,000/Year Starting

Our company is looking for a commercial truck driver to haul freight over the road, covering long-distance routes while keeping every delivery on time and compliant with safety rules.

What you'll do

• Run tractor-trailers over long-distance, over-the-road routes

• Load and unload freight, including hazmat or refrigerated loads when required

• Use GPS to plan efficient routes and hit delivery windows

• Follow all FMCSA, DOT and hazardous materials rules

• Work with flatbed, tanker or other specialized trailers as needed

• Keep accurate logs, shift reports and incident records

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license; endorsements like Hazmat or Tanker may be needed depending on the freight

• Driving or freight transport experience is a plus, but not required

• Comfortable with manual handling and power jack work for heavy or hazardous cargo (helpful, not required)

• Familiar with GPS and route planning (helpful, not required)

• Understanding of FMCSA, DOT and hazmat safety rules

• Able to safely operate tractor-trailers, flatbeds or tankers

• Physically able to handle manual tasks and long hours on the road
