About this job
Our company is growing its expedited freight division and needs straight truck drivers for overnight, time-sensitive loads across the country. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not a local W-2 job.
Pay
- You keep 27–30% of gross revenue, based on experience
- Direct deposit arrives weekly, on schedule
- Drivers typically run around 3000 miles per trip, which can translate to roughly $1,500–$2,000 a week
Home time
- Expect to be out on the road for at least 3 weeks at a stretch
- Followed by about 5 days off before your next run
What you'll haul
- Overnight, time-critical expedited freight
- Late-model straight trucks supplied by the company, fully equipped
Requirements
- Valid CDL B or C license
- At least 6 months of recent driving experience
- Reliable work ethic and comfort running overnight schedules
- Clean motor vehicle record and background preferred
