OTR/Regional CDL-A Truck Driver — $1,320–$2,000/Week

Our company is hiring CDL-A drivers for OTR and regional routes out of the Wakefield, RI area. Experienced drivers, recent CDL graduates and in-cab instructors are all welcome, each with their own pay structure.

Pay

• Posted range is $1,320 to $2,000 per week, paid weekly.

• Experienced OTR drivers: $1,485 to $1,920 per week ($77,000 to $100,000 per year). Home weekly drivers: $1,320 to $1,680 per week ($68,000 to $87,000 per year).

• Qualified drivers with 6 months of experience get $1,200 guaranteed per week for the first 8 weeks after orientation.

• Recent grads get starting mileage pay (ask a recruiter for details) and $750 guaranteed per week while actively working.

• In-cab instructors earn $1,750 to $2,000 per week, $500 for each student who succeeds, and a $3,500 sign-on bonus.

• Referral bonus of $2,500, with no cap on referrals.

Home time

• OTR runs keep you out 2 to 3 weeks with solid miles (2,700 to 3,000).

• Home weekly runs give you at least a 34-hour reset.

• Recent grads are home 2 to 3 days every 2 to 3 weeks.

• Options vary by location.

What you'll drive

• Assigned tractor you can take home (within criteria).

• 98% no-touch freight.

• Pets and riders are welcome.

Instructor role

• Hiring near Amherst, WI; Auburn, ME; Sumter, SC; Des Moines, IA; and Kutztown, PA.

• You train new CDL-A drivers with under six months of experience, plus refresher and remedial training, sharing a new 2026 Freightliner with the trainee.

New grad path

• 3 days of orientation, 5 days of classroom and terminal time, then up to 6 weeks of paid in-cab training (a 2-week fast track is possible based on evaluation).

• After training you get your own truck. Tuition reimbursement is available.

Requirements

• Active Class A CDL and age 21 or older.

• No recent safety terminations.

• Experienced drivers: 6 months of experience within the last 12 months.

• Recent grads: finished CDL school within the last 90 days.

• Instructors: 3 years of verifiable, accident-free Class A experience in interstate commerce.
