About this job
Our company is looking for a local delivery driver in Warwick, RI. You will run delivery routes to customers, handle the paperwork, and keep customers happy. No CDL is needed.
Pay
- Listed at $10 to $48 an hour.
What you'll do
- Drive routes and drop product off at customer locations.
- Take payments when needed and pick up inbound product when needed.
- Help load the truck when needed.
- Handle pre-trip and post-trip paperwork, fueling and logs.
- Process paperwork and returns once the route is done.
- Tell customers and management about any problems.
Requirements
- At least 6 months behind the wheel; a year is preferred, ideally on delivery routes rather than OTR.
- High school diploma or GED.
- A Class C driver's license at minimum.
- A driving record the company's insurer will accept.
- Able to lift 75 lbs and work with a hand truck and pallet jacks.
- Detail-minded, safety-focused and organized, with good communication and customer service skills.
