OTR Non-CDL Box Truck Driver — $150–$175/Day

This role puts you behind the wheel of a 16-foot box truck, running regional and interstate routes under a contract, route-based arrangement. You'll need prior commercial driving experience and a track record of handling freight independently and professionally.

Pay

• $150 to $175 per working day, with the exact rate depending on your experience

Schedule

• Expect roughly 10 to 12 working hours per day depending on the assignment

• Overnight stays and multi-day trips are part of the job, with routes and delivery times that can change

What you'll haul

• General freight in a 16-foot box truck, with loading and unloading as needed

• Liftgate and pallet jack use included

What you'll do

• Run pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle

• Secure cargo properly and manage liftgate equipment

• Hit pickup and delivery windows reliably

• Stay in touch with dispatch throughout your routes

• Fill out bills of lading, delivery confirmations, and related paperwork

• Flag any delays, accidents, vehicle damage, or mechanical trouble right away

• Keep things professional with customers and warehouse staff, and follow DOT rules

Requirements

• A valid driver's license with a clean record

• At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience; 2+ years is preferred

• Interstate or OTR background is a plus

• A DOT medical certificate where applicable

• Comfort working solo, managing your time, and solving problems on the road
