OTR Non-CDL Box Truck Driver — $1,000/Week + OTR Allowance

Our company, a small and growing company based in Maryland, is hiring a dependable 26ft box truck driver for a long-term OTR role. They want someone who works independently, communicates well, and takes care of the equipment.

Pay

• $1,000 weekly pay, plus a $100 weekly OTR allowance for meals, showers, and travel costs (note: a separate line in the posting lists pay as $1,100.00 per week, so confirm the exact rate with the company)

• Occasional extra bonuses may be given at the company's discretion

• You cover your own on-the-road costs, including hotels

Home time

• Stay out on the road for at least one month at a stretch

• Get 4 days home after each OTR run

What you'll haul

• Run a company-supplied 26ft non-CDL box truck (no sleeper), with a fuel card provided

• Keep freight properly secured and delivered on schedule

Requirements

• Valid Maryland driver's license

• At least 1 year of verifiable experience driving a 26ft box truck

• Clean driving history, no major violations recently

• Current DOT Medical Card

• Able to commit to OTR stretches of a month or more

• Familiarity with Motive ELD is a plus

• Good working knowledge of Hours of Service rules

• Willing to do full pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily

• Detail-oriented with solid time-management skills

• Clear, professional communication with dispatch, brokers, and customers

You'll also be expected to keep the truck clean, report any mechanical problems right away, and stay professional with everyone you deal with on the job.
