Drive a local dedicated dry van route out of Perryville, MD for a major nationwide carrier. You'll be home every day, working nights with a predictable schedule and steady weekly pay.

Pay

• Weekly pay ranges from $1,792 to $2,308, made up of mileage pay, availability pay, and a safe and on-time bonus

Home time

• Home daily

• Shifts start between 6pm and 1am, running 10 to 12 hours

• You'll work weekends, with 2 consecutive days off during the week

What you'll haul

• Dry van freight, running from the Perryville, MD distribution center through Pennsylvania, New York (Staten Island), and New Jersey, then back

• Expect 10 to 20 stops a week and about 1,800 miles weekly

• Freight is hand-unloaded with a manual pallet jack at store stops, so you'll need to lift up to 75 pounds

Requirements

• You must live within 45 miles of Perryville, MD — no exceptions

• At least 3 months of experience driving a 53-foot tractor-trailer within the past year (school and dump/garbage truck time don't count)

• Your CDL address has to match the hiring area

• A clean driving record with no incidents in the last year

• You'll need to pass a hair follicle and urine drug test, and SAP drivers won't be considered
