Our company, an LTL freight carrier operating since 1931, is looking for an experienced linehaul driver to run scheduled routes between its Service Centers. You'll get modern in-cab technology, frequent trips home and support from an experienced team.
Pay
$0.79 - $0.85 per mile ($0.7925 - $0.8525 per mile).
Home time
Drivers on this run typically get scheduled routes and come home often.
What you'll haul
Freight moves between Estes Service Centers under LTL operations, and the role involves hauling placarded hazardous materials as well as doubles/triples configurations.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 21 years old with a minimum of one year of driving experience, per FMCSA rules
- HazMat, Tanker, and Doubles endorsements required; an LCV endorsement may also be needed
- Must live within 75 miles of your assigned Service Center
- Enrolled in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Clean driving record, able to pass a DOT physical and road test
- Comfortable with manual transmissions, chaining tires, and driving in all terrain and weather
- Able to lift roughly 70 pounds and handle trailer coupling tasks requiring about 65 lbs of force
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent background
- Must pass drug screening and background check, and be authorized to work in the US
