About this job
Our company is looking for a Truck Driver to haul freight on over-the-road routes using a mix of equipment, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers. You'll handle general freight as well as hazardous materials, following DOT and FMCSA rules.

What you'll haul
- Tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers
- Hazardous materials and dangerous goods, following Hazmat regulations
Responsibilities
- Drive OTR routes safely in various truck types
- Load and unload freight by hand following safety rules
- Use GPS to plan and follow efficient routes
- Keep accurate logs of hours, cargo, and deliveries
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Stay in contact with dispatch about routes and delivery updates
Requirements
- Valid CDL for the type of vehicle operated
- Experience in commercial truck driving and freight transport
- Knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, and Hazardous Materials regulations
- Comfortable driving manual transmission trucks
- Strong GPS and route-planning skills
- Commitment to safe driving and traffic law compliance
