Our company in Romeoville, IL is looking for an experienced truck driver to haul freight over the road, running tractor-trailers and sometimes reefer trailers. You'll keep deliveries on schedule while staying safe and compliant on the road.
Pay
- $2,100.00 to $2,500.00 per week
- Full-time position
What you'll haul
- Tractor-trailer freight, with some refrigerated trailer work
- Loading and unloading cargo safely as needed
What you'll do
- Drive assigned routes and hit delivery windows
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Keep accurate logs of deliveries, miles, fuel and other paperwork
- Stay in touch with dispatch about delivery progress or road issues
- Follow all traffic laws and safety rules at every level of government
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- At least 2 years of driving experience
- Comfortable working independently or with a team
- Reefer trailer experience helpful but not mandatory
- Must be able to commute to Romeoville, IL 60446
