OTR CDL Truck Driver — $1,800–$2,400/Week

Our company is looking for an OTR semi-truck driver to haul freight across multiple states. You'll handle a mix of trailer types and cargo while keeping your logs and inspections in order and staying in close contact with dispatch.

Pay

• $1,800.00 to $2,400.00 per week

What you'll haul

• Refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tanker freight, hazmat and dangerous goods, and general freight

• Trucks may include tractor-trailers with manual transmissions

Responsibilities

• Drive long-distance routes safely across multiple states, using GPS to plan and stay on schedule

• Load and unload cargo by hand when needed, making sure everything is secured for transit

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Keep accurate driving logs, delivery paperwork and cargo manifests per FMCSA rules

• Stay in touch with dispatch about routes, schedules and any issues on the road

Requirements

• Solid background driving tractor-trailers on OTR routes

• Comfortable with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers and vehicle transport is a plus

• Skilled in loading, unloading and cargo handling procedures

• Valid CDL; hazmat, tanker or refrigerated endorsements preferred

• Able to drive manual transmission trucks and navigate using GPS

• Understanding of FMCSA and DOT rules, including hazmat regulations and safe handling of dangerous goods

• Able to safely perform manual load and unload tasks
