OTR CDL Truck Driver — $0.75/Mile + $1,000 Sign-On Bonus

Our company is looking for an OTR truck driver to haul freight over long distances, including refrigerated loads, flatbed and tanker cargo. You'll run routes across the country while keeping your logs, inspections and deliveries on track.

Pay

• $0.75 per mile, starting rate

• $1,000 bonus when you sign on

• $500 for referring other drivers

• $150 layover pay

• $30 per hour in detention pay starting after the 3rd hour

• Pay also covers breakdown time

Home time

• Flexible scheduling for time at home

What you'll haul

• Tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers

• Flatbed and tanker loads

• A mix of equipment, including manual transmission trucks

What the job involves

• Operating tractor-trailers safely on long-haul routes

• Mapping out routes that keep you within Hours of Service limits and on schedule

• Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections for DOT compliance

• Keeping accurate records of your hours, deliveries and vehicle upkeep

• Staying in contact with dispatch and customers to coordinate pickups and drop-offs

Requirements

• Valid CDL

• No more than 2 moving violations

• At least 2 years of tractor-trailer and route driving experience

• Experience pulling refrigerated trailers

• Solid understanding of safety rules, DOT regulations and basic vehicle maintenance

• Strong route-planning and navigation skills
