Our company LLC is a small carrier looking for a reliable OTR CDL-A driver to run freight across the continental United States. They want someone safety-minded who communicates well and handles freight professionally from pickup to delivery.
What you'll do
- Drive a tractor-trailer over the road throughout the continental US
- Deliver loads on schedule
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Keep ELD and logbook entries accurate
- Follow DOT and FMCSA rules, including Hours of Service
- Secure and protect the freight you haul
- Stay in touch about pickups, deliveries and any delays
- Keep your truck clean and flag maintenance issues right away
Pay
Listed at $5,000.00 - $10,000.00 per week. The posting also mentions earning potential tied to performance and miles driven, so actual pay will depend on your routes and freight volume.
Home time
Home time is worked out when you're hired, not fixed in advance.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Clean driving history
- Able to pass DOT drug and alcohol screening
- Current DOT medical card
- Solid grasp of DOT rules and Hours of Service
- Dependable, professional and safety-focused
- OTR experience is a plus but not mandatory
