Responsibilities
- Drive manual transmission trucks on OTR routes
- Load and unload freight safely
- Use GPS systems to plan routes and track deliveries
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Keep accurate logs of hours and deliveries
- Communicate with dispatch and clients on delivery status
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience driving tractor-trailers
- Knowledge of refrigerated and hazmat trailer operation preferred
- Comfortable with manual cargo handling and loading equipment
- Familiarity with GPS navigation
- Understanding of FMCSA and DOT regulations
- Manual transmission experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
