OTR CDL-A Truck Driver — $0.75–$0.80 CPM

This OTR position runs a holiday fleet schedule: you'll be home for Thanksgiving Day, then work 25 days in a row before getting 5 days off. Trucks are based at an OH or PA terminal, and you'll fly home when it's time off.

Pay

Pay is per mile and scales with experience and hazmat endorsement: drivers with 8-29 months get $0.78 per mile with Hazmat or $0.75 without; those with 30+ months earn $0.80 with Hazmat or $0.77 without. Short hauls earn extra: $35 for loaded miles between 0-100 miles, $25 for 101-400 miles. Expected annual pay lands between $92,000 and $112,000. Safety bonuses are available every 90 days: $925 with hazmat or $750 plus 8 hours of paid time off.

Sign-on bonus

Choose Option 1 for a $1,600 bonus if you hold a Hazmat endorsement, or $1,425 without it, plus orientation pay. Option 2 offers a $1,150 bonus plus orientation pay.

Equipment

You'll drive late-model 2020-2025 Freightliner Cascadia trucks, with 550 units in the primary fleet.

Requirements

• At least 9 months of OTR or regional driving experience within the last 2 years

• At least 2 months of winter driving experience

• Pass a hair and urine drug screen
