OTR CDL-A Tanker/Hazmat Driver — Minimum $0.62/Mile, 7 Days Home

Our company, Inc. is a family-owned hazardous waste transportation company based near Indianapolis, IN, since 1989. They're growing their fleet and looking for experienced CDL-A drivers to run OTR with steady, year-round freight from a core group of customers.

Pay

• Sliding mileage pay scale, with all running miles paid and a guaranteed floor of $0.62/mile

• Breakdown time is paid starting from when you report the issue

• Demurrage pay kicks in after the first hour

• Annual pay range of $90,000.00 to $130,000.00

• Hourly pay during orientation and training, switching to mileage pay once you're released to drive solo

• Two separate incentive pays for working a qualifying holiday

Home time

• OTR routes run nationwide in 4-week stretches, followed by a full week off

• our company arranges transportation to get you home

• Dispatch is staffed by former drivers who work to balance your earning time with your time off

What you'll haul

• Mostly drop-and-hook freight for a consistent customer base, with limited time spent at big distribution centers

• Specialized equipment work available for interested drivers, including Roper Pumps, vacuum operations, and roll-off jobs

• Drivers get an assigned tractor, kept up through a regular maintenance program; thorough pre-trip inspections are rewarded, including bonuses for clean DOT inspections

Requirements

• Class A CDL with at least 2 years of verifiable driving experience

• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required

• Minimum age 23

• Pump, vacuum, and roll-off experience is a plus but not required

Training

• Orientation takes place at our company's terminal in Indianapolis, IN

• One-on-one orientation sessions for a more personalized start

• Most drivers are on the road within a week
