OTR CDL-A Tanker Driver — Up to $115,000/Year

Our company is looking for an experienced tanker driver to haul chemicals over the road out of its Minot, North Dakota site. You can live anywhere within commuting distance of the site, and depending on your setup you may be able to park the truck at home at the end of each week if you have a safe spot for it.

Pay

• Total pay package of $70,000 - $115,000 a year, made up of salary, monthly bonus, and per diem

• The company's top earner in 2025 grossed $115,000.00

• Salaried, so you're paid even during waiting time, plus double time on holidays

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, with hours adjusted as needed to stay within Federal driving regulations

• Occasional weekend work may come up

What you'll haul

• Chemicals delivered to customers, plants, and warehouses using a bobtail truck/pup or a full tractor-trailer rig

• Routes cover congested city highways, rolling and mountainous terrain, and rural or oil lease roads

What you'll do

• Load the trailer and plan your daily runs to hit customer delivery windows

• Inspect your truck and equipment regularly to keep everything safe and running

• Keep delivery location maps current and follow DOT hazmat transport rules, including homeland security guidelines

• Log your hours of service accurately and stay in touch with the fleet office about any issues or hazards

• Wear the required safety gear and stay alert to hazards on the job

Requirements

• High school diploma

• Valid Class A CDL from your state of residence, with a tanker endorsement and current medical card

• At least one year holding a tanker endorsement

• Three years of commercial driving experience within the last five years, meeting FMCSA and DOT standards

• Clean driving record over the past five years

• Able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs, and handle standing, kneeling, and pulling heavy hoses as the job requires

• Experience with forklifts, drum dollies, hoists, pumps, hoses, and chemical handling is a plus, as is background in warehouse work or customer service
