About this job
Our company, an agricultural business handling grain, agronomy services, birdseed and fertilizer, is looking for a CDL-A driver to haul product for the company using company-owned or leased trucks.
What you'll do
- Inspect your truck before and after each trip and request repairs when needed
- Check the bill of lading to know your assignment
- Load or unload freight and secure the trailer for transit
- Fuel and service the truck and keep company equipment in good condition
- Keep up with DOT, OSHA and company safety certifications and required paperwork
- Follow traffic laws and accident procedures
Requirements
- CDL Class A license with a current medical card
- Three years of driving experience preferred
- Clean driving record
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs, stand or sit for long stretches, work around dust, open trailer traps and climb ladders
- Strong customer service and teamwork skills
