OTR CDL-A Reefer Driver — 60% of Net, Weekly Revenue Bonus

Our company, a small Texas-based, American-owned fleet of 8 trucks, is looking for OTR CDL-A reefer drivers who live within 250 miles of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. It is a 1099 position with pay based on a share of net.

Pay

• You earn 60% of net.

• A weekly bonus is tied to what your truck brings in: $100 at $5,000 in truck revenue, rising in steps to $400 at $8,000. The steps are $5,500 for $150, $6,000 for $200, $6,500 for $250, $7,000 for $300 and $7,500 for $350.

• Clean DOT, safety and longevity bonuses are paid on top.

• The listing shows $75,000 to $80,000 a year as the expected range.

Equipment and dispatch

• 2023 to 2025 Freightliners with an APU and a fridge unit.

• Motive ELD, trucks governed at 75 MPH.

• Dispatch is English-speaking only, with no call centers or offshore dispatchers, and the company does not use SAP.

Home time

• You get 1 day off for each week out, with a minimum of 5 weeks out at a time.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience with a Class A CDL, licensed in your state of residence.

• No DWI/DUI, reckless driving, hit and run, leaving an accident scene or failure to report an accident in the past 4 years.

• No more than 4 moving violations in the past 3 years, and no more than 2 of them in the past 12 months.

• No more than 1 at-fault accident in the past 3 years. Accidents count as at-fault unless evidence shows otherwise.

• Repeat or habitual offenders are not eligible.

• Drivers over 65 must provide a long form physical certification.
