About this job
Our company is looking for an experienced OTR tractor-trailer driver with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements to haul liquid and hazardous cargo over long distances. You'll run extensive routes, keep freight moving on schedule, and work with no force dispatching.
Pay
- $2,120.00 to $3,133.00 per week
What you'll haul
- Hazardous materials and liquid cargo, requiring careful handling and proper securement
- Live loading and unloading, with no forced dispatch
What the job involves
- Driving tractor-trailers over long routes while following traffic laws and safety rules
- Doing full pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks to catch maintenance or safety issues
- Mapping out efficient routes, staying on schedule, and keeping dispatch updated
- Logging hours, cargo paperwork, and inspections through ELD to stay DOT compliant
- Working with warehouse staff during loading and unloading, and making sure cargo is secured
Requirements
- Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker (X) endorsement
- At least 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- No SAP, DUI, or DWI in the past 5 years
- Clean MVR and PSP records
- Able to pass a DOT drug test and DOT physical
