OTR CDL-A Driver — $0.80/Mile or 30% of Gross, Midwest Routes

Our company is looking for an OTR CDL-A driver to run freight around the Midwest, mainly within 700 miles of Chicago and into parts of the South. You'll be paid as a 1099 contractor, with guaranteed weekly miles for steady income.

Pay

• $0.80 per mile solo, or 30% of gross revenue

• Guaranteed 2,500-3,000 miles per week

• Paid by direct deposit every Friday

• You'll work under a 1099, and the company will help you set up a business account if you don't already have one

Deductions and fees

• A refundable $1,000 security deposit, taken in $100 increments from your first 10 paychecks, returned 45 days after you leave

• Occupational insurance costs $37 per week and covers up to $10,000

• Cash advances up to $500 are available for a 10% fee

Routes

You'll mainly run within about 700 miles of Chicago, covering the Midwest with some runs into the South.

Equipment

• 2023-2025 Freightliner and Volvo trucks

• APUs, inverters, refrigerators, microwaves and tablets on board

• Dash cams that only monitor the road, not the cab

• Dry van trailers

• Fuel cards and I-Pass/Pike-Pass provided

Extra pay and perks

• $100 layover pay

• $20 per hour detention pay after the first 2 hours

• $25 per extra stop

• $500 referral bonus per driver after one week on the job

• Bonuses for DOT inspections, based on level

Requirements

• At least 6 months of CDL-A experience (1 year of OTR experience required)

• Clean driving record: no SAP, DUI/DWI or reckless driving violations

• Willing and able to work as a 1099 contractor (setup help available)
