About this job
Our company is looking for an experienced box truck driver to run over-the-road routes as a 1099 contractor. You'll drive a 2014 Freightliner box truck under the company's MC number, so there's no need to buy your own equipment or get your own authority to get started.
Pay
- You keep 60% of the gross revenue from each load, paid out weekly.
- Weekly pay has ranged from $2,472.65 to $2,977.82.
- Fuel for your first load is covered, then reimbursed from your first weekly settlement.
Equipment
- Truck and MC number are supplied by the company.
- You cover fuel, insurance and maintenance costs.
- If you'd rather own your rig, the company is open to discussing a truck purchase with lease-on to their MC.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of verifiable box truck driving experience.
- A clean motor vehicle report, with no moving violations in the last 36 months (a recent moving violation disqualifies you automatically).
- An active DOT medical card.
