About this job
Our company is looking for a box truck driver ready to spend one to two weeks at a time on the road hauling freight across multiple states. You'll handle local and regional runs for a company that says it backs its drivers with solid equipment and responsive dispatch.
Pay
- $1,500 to $2,500 per week
What you'll haul
- Freight moved by box truck, with both local and regional routes depending on assignment
Home time
- Expect to be away for a week or two at a stretch, traveling roughly 75% of the time
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving history is a must
- Good spoken and written English
- At least one year behind the wheel of a box truck
- Familiarity with ELD systems is a plus
- Comfortable handling pre-trip and post-trip inspections, paperwork, and staying in contact with dispatch
