What you'll haul
- General freight in a 26-foot box truck, delivered on nationwide routes
Responsibilities
- Drive safely following DOT and traffic rules
- Load, secure, and unload cargo by hand or with equipment like pallet jacks
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Plan efficient routes using GPS or mobile devices
- Provide professional customer service during deliveries
- Keep accurate delivery and route records
Requirements
- Experience in commercial driving, delivery, or courier work with box trucks
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record; CDL preferred but not required depending on vehicle size
- Comfortable with lift gates and pallet jacks
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
- Able to lift heavy items and handle freight manually
