OTR Box Truck Driver — 25% of Load, $1,000–$2,500/wk

This is an OTR box truck driving job based in Fairfield, Connecticut, paying 25% of every load, with weekly earnings typically between $1,000 and $2,500.

Pay

Schedule and home time

• Repeating cycle: 21 days on the road nationwide, then 3 days off

• You must return the truck to its Connecticut parking spot at the end of each 21-day run

• The 3 days off are not guaranteed to fall on weekends

• You must be comfortable being away from home for extended stretches

What you'll haul

• You'll drive a 26-foot box truck

Requirements

• Must live in Connecticut or a nearby state and be able to return to the Connecticut base after each run

• Previous experience driving a 26-foot box truck

• Valid driver's license and DOT medical card

• Clean driving record

• Experience with ELD systems

• Liftgate and pallet jack experience preferred

• Must pass a drug test

• Must be reliable, professional, and willing to travel nationwide
