Our company needs a box truck driver for over-the-road runs, moving freight to destinations across local and regional lanes with stretches of a week or more away from home.
Pay
- $1,500.00 to $2,500.00 per week
What you'll haul
- Freight moved by box truck on local and regional routes
- Expect to be on the road about 75% of the time, often a week or longer per trip
What the job involves
- Getting loads to their destinations on schedule
- Checking the vehicle before and after each trip
- Keeping logs and delivery paperwork in order
- Staying compliant with DOT rules and the company's safety standards
- Staying in touch with dispatch about routes and timing
Requirements
- A valid driver's license
- A clean driving record is a must
- Good English communication skills
- A reliable, hard-working attitude
- At least 1 year of box truck driving experience
- Box truck experience preferred
- Must be ready and willing to travel on the road
