OTR 26 ft Box Truck Driver — $1,400–$1,700/Week

Our company in Charlotte, NC is looking for an over-the-road box truck driver to run a 26 ft box truck on delivery routes. You'll handle loading, driving and customer drop-offs while keeping safety and paperwork in order.

Pay

• $1,400.00 - $1,700.00 per week

What you'll do

• Drive a 26 ft box truck on OTR routes, following DOT rules and traffic laws

• Load and unload freight by hand or with pallet jacks and other material handling equipment, using proper lifting technique

• Make accurate, on-time drop-offs at customer sites with professional service

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks to catch maintenance or safety issues

• Navigate using GPS or mobile apps to stay on schedule

• Help out with warehouse tasks like moving and organizing inventory when needed

• Keep delivery logs, route records and compliance paperwork up to date

Requirements

• Background in commercial driving, delivery or courier work, ideally with box trucks or vans

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record; CDL preferred but not required depending on local rules

• Comfortable with manual transmission and equipment like pallet jacks

• Experience with warehouse work, material handling and heavy lifting

• Understanding of DOT rules on weight limits, hours of service and safety

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Able to handle the physical side of the job, including lifting, moving heavy items and long periods driving or standing

• Able to use a mobile device for navigation and staying in touch during runs
