OTR 26-Foot Box Truck Driver — $750–$1,500/Week

Our company needs reliable OTR box truck drivers to run regional and nationwide routes in a 26-foot box truck. You'll stay out on the road for extended stretches, keep dispatch updated, and handle freight with care from pickup to delivery.

Pay

• $750.00 to $1,500.00 per week

What you'll haul

• Freight moved in a 26-foot box truck on regional and nationwide routes

• You'll secure loads with straps, load bars, blankets, and other equipment as needed

• Experience with palletized, high-value, time-sensitive, or expedited loads is a plus

Responsibilities

• Run pre-trip and post-trip inspections and show up on time for scheduled maintenance

• Keep accurate electronic logs and stay within DOT and Hours-of-Service rules

• Check loads at pickup and delivery, and flag any shortages, overages, or damage right away

• Collect and turn in signed Bills of Lading, Proofs of Delivery, and other paperwork promptly

• Keep dispatch informed on arrivals, departures, delays, and deliveries

• Track detention time, delays, and breakdowns

• Keep the truck clean and in safe working order

• Communicate professionally with dispatchers, brokers, shippers, receivers, and customers

• Follow all safety rules and applicable regulations, and protect company equipment and customer freight

Requirements

• At least 2 years of OTR, regional, expedited, or box truck driving experience

• Experience with a 26-foot box truck preferred

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Valid DOT Medical Certificate

• Must pass background checks and drug screening

• Familiarity with DOT rules, Hours-of-Service, and electronic logging devices preferred

• Comfortable using a smartphone, GPS, e-logs, and document-scanning apps

• Able to lift and help move freight and equipment when needed

• Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to work without close supervision

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Willing to stay on the road for extended periods depending on the route
